..how things go around & around...

Hi Again Worlds !!

It's a Friday - late afternoon - here in England.... and it's been a bit of a strange few days !!

Yesterday - well, I had to see my Consultant, in the morning and to be honest, it all left me feeling a little low !!  So - as I wasn't feeling too good - I decided to skip posting and get an early kind of night.

It wasn't just seeing the Consultant - I wasn't feeling too brilliant anyways..... seeing her just kind of loaded me down a bit !!

It's no big deal - but, I still have to stay on my various pills - for at least another month, until I see her again.  That's Ok - in a way, I expected that !!  However, the whole trip - into town - and feeling under the weather.... well - it left me "hanging".  That's another way of saying, it left me a little low !!

I wasn't feeling too brilliant anyhoo - as yesterday was my Son's birthday (from my first marriage) and on days like that, I think about him & how he is doing and everything.... I guess you can probably understand that ?

I've only seen him for about 4 hours, in the last 26 years !!  He lives (I guess) in Canada and have not heard anything from him in over 2 years now.... oh well, as long as he is happy, I can't moan !! Onwards !!

But, you know how, sometimes, things happen & you think - "Hey, that happened to me !!".... well, that's what seems to be happening here, in our little World.

To try & explain.....  When my ex-wife walked out on me... if it hadn't been for the kindness of neighbours, well - my life would of been a lot different.  Now, our neighbour, who I've mentioned before... well, his wife has basically left him & as I type, B & ME are driving the guy to the hospital...... being, if you like, the "kind neighbours" that I had all those years ago !!

It has reminded me - a great deal - of how I was & how people helped me thru' one of the worst periods of my life. I'm glad we are able to do the same - foe a fellow "friend in need " at this time in his life.

I'm sorry - but.... I'm a little below 100% today - well.... this past few days !!  But, it's amazing how things go - what comes around, goes around..... !!

So anyhoo - that's where B & ME are at the moment.... heading into the hospital.... leaving me here typing these words to you & listening to the music of the moment.

Today - well, now - it's Tangerine Dreams, Shepherd's Bush concert, from 2005...... I was playing it a few days ago & felt like giving it another blast thru' the Bose !!

Oh - I forgot J - he is upstairs in his room, working on his computer stuff & keeping an eye on my good self !!  Not that I'm going to cause him much trouble - but, he's there if I need him !!

I was - earlier - trying to catch up on my Cd's... listing them in my little red books, that I used to carry around to record fairs.... I had several to write in, but.... I can't see now, out of my right eye & that makes writing very, very hard indeed !!  I hadn't realised just how bad it was, until I sat & tried !! Oh well... life goes on !!

However - I was able to find another Zeppelin show... so, from June 15th 1972, I have a 2 Cd set.  It was recorded at the Nassau Coliseum, in Uniondale, New York.  The tracks are:

It's a great show & I've had it in my collection for a goodly number of years now.  After playing so many of the 1975 & 1977 shows... it's nice to get back to 'basics' with one of these earlier shows !!  As always, don't buy bootlegs !!

B has just 'phoned - they are on the ways back from the hospital.  That was quick - they didn't leave here that long ago !!  Mind you - ME is driving, so... I'll say no more !!

Right, my plans for tonight.... I still have a few Cd's to try & write into my books, so I must try & do those + I think England are losing in the football tonight, so I want to see how bad they manage to play - again !!

Anyhoo - it's coming up to the weekend.... so, all being well... things will pick up a little bit !!  Ho-hum... until next time...
