One Day After Eddie & Murphy.....

Greetings Worlds Of Internet Space !!

I hope you are all doing well today !!  It's another Friday, here in England - it's been a warm kind of day, I could look right across to the beach this morning.... now tho', the clouds are rolling in & the Sun seems to have gone into hiding !!  Oh well.....

I had hoped to post yesterday - but, my health didn't permit me !!  Bummer !!  Apart from doing very little all day - I had a very early night & slept like the proverbial log until about 6am this morning.  Never mind - I feel better for it today.... so, that's a bonus !!

Ok - as I type... I'm trying to do a bit of printing... the problem is, the printer is slowing ever thing down to a crawl !!  So, in a short while, I'll turn the printer off & concentrate on typing instead !!  Hopefully, I won't make too many mistakes & I can correct it as I go along... we will see !!

I'm here alone at the moment.... J is upstairs using his computer... but, both the ladies of the house are out at the moment.  ME at either Uni, or placement (not sure which today) and My Wife & Dearest Friend, B has gone into town.  She didn't have to go - but, she wants to get a bit of gym time in, this afternoon.... as tomorrow (I think) she is going shopping with ME.

So - I'm here and the music of the moment is Within Temptation's 'Black Symphony' live 2 Cd set !!  I mentioned the band in an e-mail ("Hi" Lady V) & decided to give them a bit of a blast thru' - especially as I'm alone & can crank the sound down to deafening !!

A little while ago, the neighbour phoned, to see if we could look after the dog for about 30 minutes.... it's not until about 6 ish... but, it should be Ok.  Murphy (the dog) is pretty harmless & he'll enjoy the attention we'll give him !!  To be honest - he has a bit of a loose wire... he is completely mad !!  Oh well !!

Just turned the printer off & now everything is going along much better !!

Before I get too far into this - I want to thank my American reader for reading sooooo many of my posts yesterday !!  I thank you for your time !! If you are a new reader, I hope you will logged in again at some point ............  my long time readers are always welcome !!

It must be getting colder outside - 2 of the cats have just come in !!

As mentioned - I wasn't too well yesterday... but, B & I did go into town.  We needed to catch up on some food shopping, so I went along for the ride, more than anything.  ASDA was it's usual crazy self !!  Luckily tho' - we seem to go thru' nice & quietly..... by the time we reached the pay desks, the crowds seem to have melted away !!  Mind you - it helped that we weren't in any kind of hurry - so, that was a bit of a relief !!  I hate going shopping - well, I actually hate going out !!  But, never mind.... it wasn't too bad really !!

Had I managed to write anything yesterday - I was going to list a Zeppelin show from 1977.  It's one of the more famous bootlegs - 'Listen To This Eddie' - and was recorded at the LA Forum.  However, as I missed yesterday - I'll write about another one - again from the LA Forum.... this one being recorded on June 22nd 1977 & strangely called 'One Day after Eddie' !!  I wonder where that name came
from ?!

It's not such a good recording as the previous night.... and to be honest, I don't play it very often because of that !!  'Ten Years Gone' is from a completely different night & was put in to fill up the space.... plus I'm not 100% sure 'Over the Hills & Far Away' is actually on the Cd !! It's listed on the cover - but, I'm not going to play it now, just to find out !!  Oh the "joys" of bootlegs !!

Which brings me to the my usual comment.... don't buy bootlegs !!  Buy the official stuff - there is lots of it around !!  More another time, maybe tomorrow !!

Hang on.... my curiosity has got the better of me.... 'Over The Hills & Far Away' is on the Cd !!  Just wanted to check.... mainly as it would of bugged the heck out of me, if I hadn't !!  Oh well - onwards, ever onwards !!

Right - my plans for today.... no surprises there really, I don't have any !!  It's going to be a quiet afternoon... well, until Murphy gets here.... then all "crazy" will let go !!
