San Francisco June 2nd 1973 & B in the garden !!

Greetings Worlds !!

A special "Hello" to my reader in Israel, who has logged in today - you are the very first from your fine country !!  So - I thank you for your time & I hope you'll stay reading !!  Also, "Hello" to everybody else who have been reading today, again, I thank you for your time !!

Ok - it's a Saturday afternoon, here in England..... it's overcast & very muggy !!  B is out in the garden, trying to get things done, before the rain - which is forecast for later today & tomorrow - comes.  The plan being to get the various plants & things into the ground & then let the rain water them in.  I'm glad she enjoys her garden.... I used to, but that was many moons ago !!

So - that's My Wife & Dearest Friend.... as for the 'kids'.... ME has just left for work (she is on a late today) and J is on his way, by train, to meet up with some friends, for the weekend.  We took him into town, earlier, to catch his train.....  as normal, the bus trip would of taken him over an hour & we could do it in 20 minutes !!

He was happy with the lift.... it saved him time & money + we were going in anyways !!  We've told him to call us, if he gets stuck any where... misses a train or whatever.... and we'll go & collect him.  As it's the Queens Jubilee this weekend, the transport situation is a little weird !!  Never mind - we'll see him when he gets back next Monday or Tuesday..... oh well.

The concert was out of doors, in the Kezer Stadium, in San Francisco.  If you've ever picked up a book of Led Zeppelin photo's - the chances are you will have seen images of this concert... there are some good ones about.  There are also several tapes of this show... including a complete sound board recording, but - I prefer this audience tape.... it has a better atmosphere to it !!  As always - don't buy bootlegs, get the official stuff.... support the bands, not the guy's ripping them off !!  More another day......

As mentioned, it's our Queens Jubilee this weekend.... I think it was 60 years ago, today, that she was actually crowned.  I think, also - tho' I'm not completely sure - it would of been my Mum's 90th birthday today.  As we were never close - well.... I'm not sure !!  Never mind....

Hopefully the rain won't be too heavy for the various celebrations that are going on around the country.  The only one I'm really interested in is happening tomorrow.  It's meant to have 1000 boats, going along the river Thames, in London.  I'm not that bothered about the actual celebrations, but.... I'm interested in what boats are going to be there !!  I'll let you know, if I get to see it, what it's like.... from the living room & a TV !!

Talking of the TV - as usual, it's on quiet, in the corner.... I'm keeping an eye on the MotoGp qualifying - to see who will be on pole position at the start tomorrow.  I usually record the actual races, to watch another day... other than a Sunday.  Plus, I can enjoy them better, watching a tape back - it's a lot easier than trying to keep up with the race live !!

..... again, talking of tomorrow... I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to Church in the morning.  I hope I will, but, I've not had the best of nights over the last week & - because of that - we will wait & see how I am tonight & tomorrow morning.

I keep thinking I will be "Ok" in the morning - but, as each night comes around, I just seem to feel more & more "out of it"... so to speak.  B has moaned at me, to go back & see my Dr about it & I think, I might have to.  But, we'll see how things go - if I'm still feeling like c**p on Wednesday (after the 2 day holiday) I'll go back to see him.  I should go every week anyway - but, I keep putting it off !!  Oh well - onwards !!

The MotoGp qualifying has just finished & I think our English guy is on the front row, for the race tomorrow.... great stuff Cal !!

I was looking at this weeks 'Time' magazine (which I get every week) and the main page has the headline 'The Tragedy Of English Football'..... they forgot the sub-title "Because They Are Utter C**p" ..  Honestly !!

I do watch football - not very often... but, it makes me mad, to see these over paid idiots kicking a ball around & moaning about how hard done by they are !!  Try living in the real World for a year & see how much you like that !!  That's my moan for today.........

Yesterday's moan was about Richard Clayderman....... and how much I hated his album.  I was recording it from Lp to Cd, for our friends at Church.  Well, I can honestly say - if I never hear another track by the guy, I will die a happy person !!  Oh well - to all the many thousands of Richard Clayderman fans out there... try something else !! Go on, try anything but that !!  Now I await the "backlash" !!

Going back to the Lp's.... I have one more to do & then that will be all of them done......  it's taken longer than I had hoped, but.... I did have a few problems along the way, so....  Anyways - one more to do & that will be the end of that lot.

Please don't get me wrong... I didn't mind doing them, but..... it has taken a while.  The best of the bunch was a box set of orchestral stuff, that was good listen & I enjoyed that set above all the rest.  never mind (again) they are done now, so I'll await the next lot, that, I'm sure, some one will ask me to.  It's good to give the people a chance to hear their old Lp's again, over on Cd......... just as long as it's not Richard Clayderman !!  Ho-hum.......

I've just taken B out a cold drink - she seems to be having fun !!  Hopefully the rain will stay away for a couple more hours.

Oh well - my plans for today.  For once, I actually have things I want to do !!  That makes a change, for me !!  I want to watch a bit of the Moto2 qualifying & also I need to sort out my table.... it seems to just get worse & worse with ever passing day !!

I'm not sure when I'll be back... maybe Monday... so, until then...
