It's June 7th.... I think !!

Well "Hello" Worlds !!

Now - I'm the first to admit, my brain does not work the way it
should !!  To say I get mixed up, well - that would be an understatement, to say the least !!  I'm not sure if I'm using that as an excuse, but....

.... I will try & explain, as best I can.

Yesterday was June 6th....... so, I have no idea why I thought it was June 7th & as such - well, I wrote about a concert, from New York, which I should of written about today.... but, me being me, I wrote about it yesterday !!

So - I was one day out in my own little mad way.... for which I will now say "sorry" and move on.... as best I can !!

Right - it's a Thursday, here in old England and it's June 7th !!  Well, I think it is anyways.... It's been raining hard all day & cold with it - B took me into town this morning & it was horrid, it really was !!  We had to get some shopping, so we headed into ASDA...... once again, our food bill has gone up !!  oh well....

We also got my watch back - minus any kind of strap !!  So, at some point, I will have to go somewhere else & try & find one !!  It can't be that hard - well, up until this past week - I wouldn't of thought so !! Never mind - there is one shop that might be able to help.... When it's a dry day, we're pop in again & see what I can get !!

ASDA was pretty busy - with the usual bunch of idiots (other than me) getting in the way !!  One guy walked backwards, into me and another time, a lady pushed her trolley into my side and then gave me a dirty look.  I can only assume, she figured it was easier to blame the guy in a wheelchair, rather than admit she was blind..... as well as ugly & deaf !!

Anyhoo - we've been home all afternoon....  B has been busy & me, well - I've been listening to the Lp's of the 'Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy'...... giving the new stylus a good work out !!  As I type, I'm still playing some of it - the last disc - and it's been great fun !!

Oh - I mentioned I might get my Cd player back today.... well, it's coming tomorrow - so, I'm looking forward to getting it back !!  Hopefully it will be here in the morning !!  We'll have to wait & see I guess.

Back to today.... B has just gone out, to the gym for a workout & a Thursday night class.  All being well, she will be home in a couple of hours.  J is here, behind me - washing up his supper dishes & ME is on her way home, from Uni..... where she has been attending a 'sign language' course of some sort.  She should be here very soon - hopefully !!  With the weather being so bad today, I'm hoping she has had a safe journey on the motorway !!

The weather forecast, has just been on the TV.... they are saying there will be very high tides on our local beach tonight, not helped by the winds !!  They think there will be coastal flooding....hopefully not too bad, for those who live there !!  Onwards.... ever onwards.....

I sent an e-mail this morning, to one of the 'Play.com' companies.... asking where my latest order has gone ? I ordered a DVD on May 30th & so far, according to 'Play'... well, they say it's still being processed in their warehouse !!

I've asked them just how big their warehouse is and if they could either send me my DVD or give me my money back !!  I know we have had a 4 day weekend, but.... come on - just how hard is it to post off a blooming DVD !!  I will not be giving them a "positive" on the feedback !!  Hopefully I'll get the cash back & then I can get it from someone else !!  I'm fast giving up on 'Play' - I order stuff (far too often) and it takes forever to reach me !!  We will see how long it takes to sort it out I guess !!

For those of you, who have read my words over the last 2 years..... you might remember I've mentioned a guy in the village, who has a nasty tendency to let me down, as far as passing Cd's on to me !!  Well, he has done it again !!  My friend has sent some Cd's for me, via the guy in the village.... and, once again, he is sitting on them !!  He has had them all week & so far, he has not brought them over to me !! Bummer !!

Unfortunately, he is my "go-between" and my friend seems to forget just how hard it is to get stuff from him !!  Oh well - it's only been 5 days - I shouldn't moan - but..... it does p**s me off !!  You have to know the guy to understand how frustrating it all is...... !!

I will let you know when it finally reaches me.... but, I'm not holding my breath !!

ME has just got home, I'm glad to say.... I was worried about her !!

Ok - as I messed up, yesterday, with the Zeppelin concert.... I have another one from today, to make up for it !!  So - unless I'm completely wrong (again) - today is June 7th & from 1972 I have a 2 Cd set, recorded in Vancouver.  The tracks are:

I don't think it's a complete recording of the show, but....... I like it !!  I must of had it for some time - as it seems like one of the earliest boot Cd's I've had in my collection !!  As always - please don't buy bootlegs.

More another time.... maybe I'll get it on the right day, next time !!

I'm not sure what plans we have for tomorrow.... but, I still have a shed load of Cd's here to go thru' and put away !!  No - it's only a few - but, I need to get them done..... sooner, rather than later !!  So - that's my plan....

As for tonight - I'm not going to do very much.... I'm still kind of knackered from being poorly last week - but, all being well, I'm on the mend now !!

So - for now, I will be on my ways.... until next time...
