Music, painting & a stairlift !!

Greetings Worlds !!

How are you all doing this fine Wednesday ? Well - it's a Wednesday here - but, I've no real idea what time or day it is, where you're reading these words !! Come on Russia - I'm still awaiting on that weather report !!

Actually - it's not that nice - outside... it's very overcast & dismal !! Our house overlooks the village school & the kids have all got their jumpers & coats on, today.... so, it must be cold !! Normally, they are all running around, like mad things.... not today tho' !!

Right... the family. J (our Son) is home... he is doing whatever he does on his computer...... and helping me, when I need it. ME (our Daughter) is at work.... and, I guess, she will be home later on, this evening. Tho' - having said that - she might be spending the night at M's (her boyfriend) place..... I don't really know about that one !!

That just leaves B - My Wife & Dearest Friend.... who, as I type, is in the gym, doing a class... which I think finishes about 11am. Tho' - like most things - I'm not really sure about that either !!

Meaning - I'm sat here, more or less, on my ownsome !! I'm not really doing very much.... but, I am trying to do some more painting, in the kitchen.... which, I might have mentioned yesterday ?! I can't remember !! Honestly - my brain... I really should try & get it transplanted !!

If I didn't mention it, yesterday.... I'm trying to paint the kitchen, before I go back into hospital. I did some yesterday and I've made a restart today...... tho' I'm not thinking about doing too so much today.

The reason for that is twofold..... (1) As it seemed to take forever, for the paint to dry, yesterday - I landed up doing it later than I had originally thought !! (2) In about 3 hours - some guys are coming to do the stairlift thingy.... so, I want to be finished, before they get here - as.... well, I don't want to be in the kitchen & two guys, who I don't know - and therefore don't trust - are walking around the rest of the house !!

I'm not being mean.... but..... I hope B will be home by the time they get here - that would help !!

The painting is not going too well, this morning. I'm struggling really - which is another reason, not to do so much !! If you can picture a guy, who can hardly walk, or stand on his own........ wearing a neck brace, trying to paint a wall - well... it would make a great cartoon feature !! Oh well...

I just took a 30 second brake, to give P's dog, Murphy, a biscuit. Altho' we're not taking him for walks any more... we still let the mutt out for his "needs" !! J has just opened his door - he then flies across the Close, up to our window... where I hold out the above mentioned biscuit !! He is a bear of a dog, he really is !!

I've just checked the paint... it's almost dry - so, I better sign off, for now at least & try to do some more. It's not too brilliant.... but, I want to do it - no matter how bad it turns out !!

So - my plans for today... A bit of painting, some more music (the Mini Egg is playing on shuffle, as I type) and then wait for these guys to show up !! Such excitement !!

Oh - I forgot... B is picking me up some more Cd's today !! The Who's 'Live In Hull'... 'The Hobbit' soundtrack & another Warren Zevon Cd - tho, I honestly can't remember which one !! I'm looking forward to 'The Hobbit'...... hopefully the music will be as good as the film !!

For now tho'... I must away... I thank you all for logging in & reading my words..... until next time...
