Van Morrison & A Magic Pill

Greetings World's !!

How are you all doing this fine & bright day ?! It's very warm outside.... with blue sky & white puffy clouds - well, just a few... nevermind... it's a Monday, the "start" of another week !!

I've decided to take a short break.... to explain. I started off, about 9am this morning, with the very firm intent on sorting the last of the Cd's out..... Up until about 15 minutes ago, all was going really well !! I had cleared several shelves & have put various Cd's all around the place - ready to put back in order..... now, unfortunately, my get up & go... well, it went out the window !!

The reason for this... how should I put it, "lack of uption" that sounds, about, right.... well, ME decided to take B out, into town - and, as they drove off... I decided I was going to take, the above mentioned break !!

I am not blaming them, for my leaving piles of discs around the place.... but, as they drove off - I thought "why not" !! I'll get to them, in a little while.... in about an hour or so.... maybe !!

Moving on....

B & ME - as stated - have just gone out....... which leaves J & my good self, home alone. It's no biggy - I'm not really up to going very far, at the moment..... to explain, as quickly as possible...

All thru' Sunday night, following on from late Saturday night... I was, how shall we say - in a little bit of pain !! Sooooo bad, that B did consider calling out the Dr... but, I avoided his skills !! It didn't matter how many pills & potions I took, the blooming pain... well, it just wouldn't go away !! It was about mid, to late afternoon... on Sunday... before things eased up.

I will be really glad, when they finally do the surgery.... it might not cure all of my ill's - but, I hope it will do a lot to help !! Time will tell, on that one, at least.... but, it's 6 weeks today, that I actually go into the hospital, so, that's 42 days... to the day !! I won't bore you - every post - with the countdown... well, maybe I will.... I'll see !!

Anyhoo - because we didn't go to Church, yesterday.... we have asked the Elders to pay a visit, later this afternoon. Well, that's not exactly true - I asked them to come around, as I have a gift, for one of them.... but, they 'phoned earlier, to say they would be here, a little after 5pm. No big deal - it'll just slow up the guy's tea time...... it won't bother me, one way or another - but, I would of liked them, to have got here this morning !! Oh well....

So - today is pretty well mapped out...... I have to put the Cd's away & the guys will have a late tea, it sounds like a quiet day to me !!

The postman has just come.... don't you just love that film (?).... anyways - much to my disappointment, he hasn't brought me any "new" Cd's !! I'll have to go into sulk mode - unless something gets here, by tomorrow, at least !!

As the first of the Allman's shows reached me, last week... I hoped the second three would of reached me today. Nevermind - I'm sure they will get here, as soon as they can..... but, having finished playing the first shows, I could really enjoy the new ones !! I hope they will get here, this week, at least !! I also have a 2 Cd, 'live' set, by Nils Lofgren... somewhere, on it's way to me..... I really like his 'live'
stuff !! I'm not sure if I'm expecting anything else.... I can't really remember what is coming & what is not !!

I had the latest Joe Bonamassa set reach me - but, I've probably mentioned that already !! I've only played a bit of it, so far.... but, it seems pretty good, so far !!

At the moment, I'm playing the Van Morrison set, which I listed (I think) last week... along with a few others I had picked up. It's a 3 Cd "Best Of" set.... and, this is the first time I've played any of it - so, far - it's been a bit of a disappointment !! Ok - it's Van Morrison & you get, exactly, what it says on the label.... but, it's kind of crap.... well, that's my personal opinion.... so, if you're reading this Mr Morrison... don't sue me !! I'll play the rest of this first Cd & then, maybe, just skip the next two !!

I certainly need something a little more "exciting" than this, while I'm packing away the rest of the Cd's !! I'll fall asleep at this rate !! Oh well.... it's been that kind of weekend really...... pain,.crap & falling asleep !! Now, where did I put that "magic" pill..... No !! Not today at least !!

Right - I better be on my ways.... I have at least 300 Cd's on the coffee table, so - I ought to put a few of them on the shelves, before the ladies get home....... well, at least before they want feeding tonight !!

Nevermind - I'm sorry this is only short.... I thank you all for logging in, I hope the weather in Russia is as good as it is here ... until next time..
